The car for the period booked on your florida home vacation
One named driver
Two drivers with MV1, MV2, MV3 and MV4
Supplementary liability insurance Florida Collision damage waiver.
All local Florida taxes, access fees and Florida state taxes are also included and could cost up to £35 per week if paid in Florida.

You will have to pay extra for the following locally...

Additional drivers- charged at a rate of $5 per day - see gold service above.
All drivers must be aged 21 or over and carry a full drivers licence valid for the country of residence. Drivers under 25 years incur an extra charge of $15 per day.

Fuel - the tank will be full when you collect the car in Florida. You should return it with an empty tank. Alternatively, see our Gold Service above.

Deposit- a major credit card is used as a deposit on the car to cover any incidental charges such as late return, fuel top up on return etc.

Child seats - Children up to 5 years must be carried in an approved car seat. Seats should be requested at the time of booking and payment is made locally - $5 per day, a $50 refundable deposit is also required.

Carefree Personal Protection, CPP - You may be offered this extra insurance cover when you collect the car, it provides some increased benefits over your holiday insurance in case of personal accident.

Local Florida taxes are payable for any option bought and paid for locally

Florida Car collection - At most locations car pick-up is off airport but courtesy buses are provided from the terminal.

Car availability - If the car you booked is not available then you will get a free upgrade to the next available group.

24-hour satisfaction guarantee - If you are dissatisfied with any option you buy from Alamo, call into their nearest Florida location within 24hours and the cost of the option will be refunded.

Peak season rates - unlike many of our competitors we do not charge peak Florida season supplements, rates are the same year round.

Insurance cover
The third party cover included in the cost of many Florida car rental rates provides only basic inadequate cover. We also include Extended Protection which provides $1,000,000 combined single limit third party liability and $1,000,000 for the driver and passengers if they are hit by an uninsured or underinsured driverduring your stay in Flroida. If you were to buy this cover locally it would cost around $12 per day.

We also include Collision Damage Waiver which protects the renter from financial responsibility if the car is stolen or damaged in any way whilst in the renters care. If you were to buy this cover locally it would cost up to around $19 per day.
